"OUR FRIENDS RIDES"
"CLYDE"
Our friend Wild Bill's 48 Chevy 3100, he calls "Clyde"

"Clyde" named for my Grandfather who was hard working and didn't take much guff
from anybody.

It's a 48 Chevy 3100 Deluxe Cab (5 window) with a 350
cid 'Vette w/TH400 trans. A 55 Chevy rear with rebuilt posi. A real
Mustang II suspension (pre-kit era), power disc brakes, & power steering.
Black leather buckets, and recessed firewall with a Camaro gas tank behind the rear
axle.
The entire chassis was stripped and painted Imron red metallic, the body in two stage
Centari silver and red metallic painted in 1989!
'88 'Vette tail lights are frenched in a custom one piece bed.
15" American CP200's, and BFG rubber.
The new 8.8 Accel wires light up my rebuilt Edelbrock carb, and now
the old dude swills premium and smokes tires with the best of 'em!

Cool idea to have a friends rides on your site!
