Murf,
The door and fender did arrive in record time. Surprise! Yes it was a
pleasure doing business with you. The communications between us
was great. You understood my needs and was willing to commit to
every possible way to provide the parts that I needed. You
conducted the transactions with a business sense but also in a
friendly atmosphere. And you were always more
than fair and honest in your representation of the parts available.
Again I thank you and I will be glad to recommend you to my friends
and all.
Regards,
Joe H. -Tacoma, Wa.

Hi Murf,
Just to let you know, I received the top and bottom trim pieces for
the REAR WINDOW, in good condition today. The box was  dented
but the trim wasn't.
I assume the rest of the trim is in the other package ( I received two
Click and Ship notifications right after I sent the Payment) and the
coil springs will ship later ??
Thanks, Jesse N. (Ca)
Hi again Murf,
I received 2 more packages today. The rest of the trim and the
springs. All arrived O. K. I was a little confused yesterday because I
only had been notified of 2 packages by Click and Ship. I didn't know
about the springs going direct via the Post Office. Thanks A lot.
GOOD Packing. Nice doing business with you. Hope to do more in
the future.

Murf, you certainly can post pictures of the speedster.
The speedster was built using a 1923 Model T frame, engine,
transmission and
rear end. The body is a M & M reproduction Fautless Raceabout.
These type of racers were build in the 20's and 30's and were raced
at county fairs, which took the place of racing horses. This one is
fairly stock, high compression head, high lift cam and bored 40
over. I had it up to about 75 mph and got scared and backed off. The
big problem is with the brakes. There is only a drum and band in the
transmission which
when applied will eventually stop only the rear wheels, so stopping
needs much improvement. I purchased your Metropolitan brakes
because with a little work they can be fitted to give braking to both
the front and rear wheels .
Thanks again, Charlie

Hey Murf, I received the side seat pocket and back tail light
bulb holder for the Volvo 740 about a week ago.
Everything works great with bulb holder. I noticed that the
side seat pocket part has a hair line crack in the same
place where mine broke years back. Only if Volvo would
have added more plastic in that area when molding it.
Anyways..I'm very happy with the two pieces I bought
from you. I look forward in doing business with you again
very soon. Have a good one and enjoy your weekend..
Cheers,Jeff in Quincy, FL

Hi once again Murf,
I just wanted to say thank you for a pleasant trading experience and
to let you know that I am pleased with the truck hood you sold me. I
re-visited your web site and DID see the truck you told me about.
Man, you are blessed to be alive much less walking around.

Good luck to you in your business and life. I wouldn't hesitate to
recommend you to friends nor to trade with you again in the future
should I need another part.

Hi MURF,
Sorry it has taken most of the week to write this.  I just wanted to
say thank you for all of your help on the power brake bracket.  It
arrived last Saturday and after a few minutes to give it a
Sherwin-Williams rebuild it was ready to go.  The bracket along with
the new power brake booster and master cly. are now installed.  I
have not driven the car as while it is on the jack stands I decided to
freshen up the underside.  Hopefully by Monday I will be done.

Again I want to thank you.  Not many people are willing to mess with
these small parts nor do they give the level of service that looks to
be the norm at your business.  I will keep you in mind for my future
needs and hope that we can do business again soon.  My next
project will be to add power steering and soon A/C (under dash but
with factory engine mounts).

Have a safe and pleasant Memorial Day weekend.

Wayne, Mechanicsville, VA
Hi Murf
Yes I got back with no problem.  I stopped at a Best Western Sat
night because they had parking for trucks with trailers.  Nice motel.
Yes my wife said you had already refunded the $25.  It was good to
know that there are still people out there that are as honest as you
are, and I know I can trust you in any dealing we have together.
Thanks again for all of your help

I have cleaned the car up and taken the wheels off. got the old tires
taken off and have cleaned and sanded the rims.  Today I painted
the rims to help make the tires hold air.  I will put used tires on the
car so I can move it around.  I will sell the rims later on since they
are 13" rims and I need a 14 " rim since the convertible has 14 inch
rims.  Do you have a 14" Corvair rim?  Next i am going to take the
idler arm off and weld a straight rod where the bent piece was so
that I can move the car around easier.  Right now it is still on my
trailer as you can see.  I got the rims cleaned up pretty good
Thanks again

glad to hear it Ken and thanks for responding. would you mind if i
posted this comment on my website? i tell all my customers that "i
don't want to sell them a part, i want to make a customer" and i
believe i've made one in you. thanks again for your business, Murf

Hi Murf
Yes, you can post any of my comments to you on your website.  It
was good to know that in this day and age, that there are still some
people out there who still value their word  and a hand shake as
something that you can take to the bank.  If a man will not stand by
his word, then he is nothing to me.  You are not out to cheat any
one.  I certainly will keep you in mind  as the first one to contact
should I  or one of my friends need something you have.  Hope that
we can meet again sometime.  Did you get my picture I sent you?
Please contact me if you get any thing pertaining to my Corvair.
Thanks again and God bless you.

1969 BUICK "DREAM RESTORED"

"The 1969 Buick Lesabre was my first car at age 16.
I always dreamed of restoring it, and in 2011, I did.  Take a look!
Oh, by the way,  everywhere I drive it, I receive a thumbs up!"
Got the parts this afternoon.  Couldn't be more pleased.  I'd like to
leave a killer comment for you on e-bay.  The parts I needed were
cut exactly as we discussed, shipped quickly, and fairly priced! You
can quote me on that for sure.  I just might pick that carcas apart if I
come across something else!  I will send some pictures as I
progress a little. Didn't get to the floor pans today. Wife hit her
garage door.  I had to pull all my woodworking tools out and rebuild
the whole lower section!
Thanks once more! Ray, in Ark
